    HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN

How would you like to experience the best life has to offer?

  • SOUND IMPOSSIBLE?
    The fact is: It is very possible!
    With Jesus Christ in your life!

  • To discover how, there are a few things that you need to understand.

  • The Bible says in Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

    Sin separates us from God and so we can�t live life to its fullest.

    The Bible also says, "For the wages of sin is (eternal) death . . ." Romans 6:23

    Man has tried to reach God in many ways (being good, trying different religions, etc.) to try to over come this death. But each attempt failed. He was still doomed to die eternally in hell.


  • BUT GOD MADE A BETTER WAY
    The rest of Romans 6:23 says ". . . but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ our Lord."

    Romans 5:8 says "But god commendeth (demonstrated) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

    Jesus Christ died for us. He took our place on the cross; because of this we have an opportunity to have eternal life in heaven.

    Romans 10:9-10 says "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation."

  • In order to have this eternal life you MUST do a few things.

    Admit your need (I am a sinner).

    Be willing to turn from your sins (repent).

    Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the dead.

    Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come into your heart and be your Savior (to save you from your sins) and Lord (to have control) of your life.

    WHAT TO PRAY

  • Dear Lord Jesus,
    I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and ask You now to forgive me of all my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life and I commit my life to you. I will trust You as Savior and follow you as Lord, in the fellowship of Your church.


    If you prayed this prayer, Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

    That means you are now a Christian and Jesus is your Savior and Lord.
